Things are not perfect. They encounter mistakes. They experience failure. Especially when we talk about people, nothing’s change. People’s minds are very unpredictable. Sometimes we are on the one side, sometimes we are on the other. Sometimes we are doing the right thing, sometimes we are not. Just like the picture on the right, it just shows the how people’s minds are doing. We all know that placing our garbage in an improper place is a bad habit. We also know that instead of helping our surroundings clean, it will make it messier. But we keep on doing that maybe because of our laziness and lack of civility. Some says that it is just a piece of a paper and it will not do any harm with us. Other says that that’s why metro-aids and janitors are hired to clean the garbage we throw. But is it right? Is living with these principles in mind will ever help our environment to become better place to live in? Maybe this time, a small piece of trash will not harm us. But when those trashes will pile up and clogs a particular drainage during a typhoon, it is also we that suffer.
Just like politics, when the politicians are doing the wrong thing, their friends and family are tolerating them without realizing the possible outcomes it will yield. We tend not to correct simple errors because we always think that everything’s going to be fine. But when those things pile up, it is also we that are having difficulties. Oftentimes, we get other innocent people involve with our mistakes. And in the end, we think of the things that must do in the first place.
In whatever we do, we must think first the consequences of our actions. Even though they are not evident on the first place, we must strive to correct every error we encounter. We must not wait for something to happen before we realize that we are doing the wrong thing.
